Maps crash while loading after "Initializing Overview Map Subsystem"

Many maps freeze on "Initializing overview map subsystem for me, I want to completely turn off the map, since it causes this, and I never use it. Is this possible?

Thank's! Hopefully this will fix it!

EDIT: It still seems to crash, it must have been crashing after initializing that subsystem.

You should attach your RoR.log file so we can find the source of the problem and the solution to it.
Will: Aunt Viv, I read all The Autobiography of Malcolm X three times.
Vivian Banks: That makes you a serious student on Black history?
Will: That`s a very important book.
Vivian Banks: Will, you can read that book, you can wear the T-shirt, put up the posters and shout the slogans but unless you know all the story behind it you?re trivializing the entire struggle.

The game doesn't close, it just freezes and exits without an error if I press anything.
