Despite how it looks, it cannot fit a minifigure. i usually build a black interior or just fill the car with black tiles if its like that minivan i did earlier

the S15 i did has an open gap between the windows, so i just built a black interior to fill it and make it look "minifigure scale". Its a great way to keep the outside details for some nice builds or photos
