i deleted 2022 and tried downloading 2026 on my windows but i cant, it keeps trying to open the downloaded file as a text file for some reason, can someone help me?
I wonder, does this issue apply to the Linux version? i didn't seem to encounter issues downloading the package, unless its not the same version?ive noticed that 2026.01 seems to be troublesome to install for alot of people, myself included.

when downloaded it (following instructions, ofcourse) and loaded into a map, it crashed, could work it out any way to work, so i got the latest 2025.08 dev build version instead. Please describe the issue(s).

You can start a separate thread with RoR.log and extra details. We don't know something is a problem until someone reports it as everyone has different hardware. 2025.08 is not the latest dev build version.when downloaded it (following instructions, ofcourse) and loaded into a map, it crashed, could work it out any way to work, so i got the latest 2025.08 dev build version instead.
