    It's something. There are ups and downs (like the 2022 Shanghai lockdown which made my mental health even worse). People are nice (expect the government), culture are great, mostly adapted to foreigners and the locals.

    My passport is french so going back to France? China calls themselves reopened (early January) but for Chinese citizens to renew or get visa is a pain in a rear end (my mums case: Not out of date, just getting a visa to go anywhere is difficult) Hopefully this summer break we can go out to travel.
