How to apply friction settings?

I have a problem with the game because the cars have very poor grip. I tried to change it but there is a problem that there is nothing in the tool to save this setting.

I think the default values for the different ground types are stored in "\Documents\My Games\Rigs of Rods\config\ground_models.cfg"

Open that with something like Notepad++ and try changing them in there I haven't tested this myself, but it's worth a shot
