Problem with Auriga Proving Grounds

Hi everyone! I'm also having the exact same issue, and it's been present since version 2025.03 RC1. Right now I'm doing some tests in RoR's code, and trying to pinpoint what's causing it. I'll keep you all updated in this post.

For now, I can say that:
  • This issue prevents RoR from reading .tobj terrain files properly, causing terrain objects to not be loaded.
  • I can only replicate the issue in one of my computers. I've set up a virtual machine for testing and RoR works fine there.
  • This issue is not consistent. Sometimes the objects are loaded, sometimes they aren't.
  • All terrains might have the same issue.
 
I have indeed noticed this problem on Flatmap 2013 and on PRALO 3.2.1 FOREST DELUXE, for example. On these maps, the terrain simply doesn't appear; there is only flat ground.
I have only tested RC1 and 2 versions very little, but from the little I have played with them, I have only encountered this problem since 2026.1.

never really noticed that, also didnt flatmap2013 used to have texture issues years ago? (its thumbnail) or am i thinking of another flat map?
