e36 on repo uses mv4 nb and there's also the gavril police cars gabester has left ror for many years and is doing beamng now as long as my things are high quality enough, they'll get accepted

i'm doing the gabester nb bc i'm pretty sure people want deformable car more than nondeformable nb made by devel in a couple minutes and no don't worry, i'll be editing to make the nb fit the car shape and i will not steal models from sketchup

Seems interesting I'll try to replicate that as long as it doesn't involve any code(but that should be unlikely as scripts probably can only be run from the console), otherwise I'll just do what I described above but with all 21 allowed gears to make it smoother

Huh. l guess l reaIIy do learn new things every day. I think that means the cinecam's beams are also affected by the last defined set_beam_defaults. I could use this to my advantage and convert many other deformable vehicles into ones that stop working if you crash them too hard. I think cinecam...

btw should I release the cars as WIP beta or only release them when they're fully finished?

Weird. Couldn't find anything in the truckfile, not even triggers. Only thing I could think of is all the cinecams got submerged, but obviously that didn't happen.

oh I tried it in my Windows VM (i use linux mint btw) and i guess encrypted zips just don't really work all that well. At least on Linux Mint, extracting worked seamlessly, but I needed 7zip to make it work on Windows but I'll just stop trying now to encrypt my zips and upload a normal one
