Unsolved Problems with shading

Could just be my graphics card, but for whatever reason, when going into first person (or any camera on a vehicle that's not orbit or movie cam), the vehicle becomes completely black, except for anything like a steering wheel. I have no idea when this started or why it happens but i would like to see what you people have to say about it or any possible fix. thanks. (This glitch happens on any map, any vehicle, singleplayer or not. also both images with same truck.)

and yes i called it movie cam because idk what its called but its that one that is normally the last camera mode

Are you running version 2020.01? This glitch is known for happening when texture shadows is enabled, which was removed in 2020.01.

i dont have texture shadows but i also dont think i have 2020.01, i may have a version from 2019

Try uninstalling your current version from control panel, then download 2020.01 from our home page: https://www.rigsofrods.org/download
