rules for mod uploads

So, I'm not sure what section to post this in, but anyway.

I'm going to be looking through some of my old hard drives for different vehicles/trailers/terrains/etc. What are the rules for submitting mods that you personally have not created, but wish to upload for others to use? Of course I know about giving credit, etc, but are their any other rules, or guidelines that need to be followd?
