Understand, blender is a complex 3D modeling and rendering package, before you can use it effectively to make things, you need to know a few things about how it works:
Blender is not the kind of software you can launch into and grope about until you find your way. It's not like exploring an unfamiliar city. It's more like flying a spaceship. If you hop into the pilot's seat without knowing the fundamentals, you'll be lucky to ever get off the ground, and it'd take a miracle for you to reach your destination safely.

Now, nodeSnap is made to make editing N/Bs an easy task that anyone can do. Making detailed N/Bs with blender is not the best way imo for it then nodesnap can be more useful tho

nodeSnap is built using new technologies, such as Electron and node.js. That might be overkill for this application, but that's how it became possible in the first place. Next versions will make that size worth it with much more features with this new open source truck editor heavily inspired by the old rorEditorizer, this tutorial will show you how to use and manipulate nodeSnap (version 0.1.1-beta)

Knowing this, now you are ready to follow this docs that will teach you how to use those programs to Mods Creation
Now it's up to you if you're going to start with the blender, or nodesnap
