Is it possible to make Sky X change the time of day slower? What file would I change it in. If anyone could help that would be great.

Not currently possible to change that. It's recommended to just use Caelum sky instead.

No, terrains that feature rain only work with Caelum sky.

Not possible. Terrains with rain work using a custom Caelum configuration (.os). SkyX uses its own configuration file (.skx).
Also, while it is possible to configure SkyX to have stormy clouds and lightning, it doesn't actually support precipitation.

But at least it supports stormy clouds & lightning.
It is a pity that there is no tutorial on how to do it, I would try.
