What are these?

I want to know all the soft body system
so, I know that there are beams that are connecting in nodes
but what are shocks? are they a part of suspension?
and what about "spring" and "damping" parameters?
option "spring and damping search interval" sets search interval for spring and damping, or only for damping?

Vehicles and objects in game are made from nodes and beams.

Nodes are just points in 3d space, beams are "sticks" that connect them together.

Two beams aren't rigidly connected at the node, they can move in any direction freely, as long as they remain connected.

Imagine a shock as a beam that can compress, like a spring. The more "spring" the shock has, the more force it'll take to compress it. Damping is exactly what it sounds like.

Press K in-game to see the node and beam structure of the vehicle you're in. Press CTRL+K to cycle through debug views.

I don't know about the last thing you've said.

thank you so much
about the last thing: hover your mouse to the top menu, press tools>Node / Beam utility and look at three strings at the bottom of window
there are beams, shocks and wheels parameters
