False, RoR does have a simple waypoint AI:


Bajarama V2 does include an example script, but it's commented out.

The terrain must have a script set up for it. For example: http://forum.rigsofrods.org/resources/f1-test-track.244/
Just load the AI version of the map and a MeanMachine Race should spawn and begin driving once you enter it.
It is just a very basic waypoint AI, it'll stop once it finishes a lap and you'll have to reload the terrain in order to restart it.

When I try to put it into a map, it doesn't work. No car spawns. No error in log. Help???

Nevermind. I did some naming errors and forgot to name something which caused conflict. Renamed and fixed.
