WIP (submeshed) Sebring Vanguard Citicar

"I have no idea of anything" - I have no idea what your problem is and can't help you.

"I don't understand how you make a suspension out of n/b"
"I don't understand how you magically make wheels appear on your n/b"
"I have wheel nodes in place and wheels defined but they show up"
"I don't understand this specific part of the Docs page on wheels, it confuses me"

If you don't learn how to put your thoughts into words for them to make sense, no one will understand you and no one will help you.

I think It would be beter to have a drivable box with wheels and put serbring body on that rather than adding wheels to this wedge

the thing is is that the entire car is a cheese wedge, plus surely it will make it stronger with triangles, right? it may also not handle right and may handle more like a small bus, which won't be fun to drive. i want it to be more realistic with the gears working first. plus, could someone help me work through the .truck file? this is the bit i'm stuck at.

just to clarify, this is my very first mod, if i make any more when this is finished (eventually) they will probably be better and quicker to make

What kind of suspensions (if any) does this thing have irl? On wikipedia i didn't see anything about that. Edit: Didn't look well enough, it clearly says it has spring suspensions.

Uh oh:
Leaf spring suspension is a very simple (in real life; it is much harder to model in RoR) and efficient design found on almost all trucks using beam axles. The design consists of a spring and a shackle, the spring is a long metal arc that bend when a force is exerted on the spring. One end of the spring is securely mounted to the frame and the other to a shackle. The shackle allows for one end of the spring to move back and forth as the spring straightens out under force.
I think it might not be that much of a bad idea to use simple coilovers... (not very realistic for this vehicle but...)

it should be fine, any video of this thing says that the suspension is pretty hard anyways (i think) so it should be ok

You shouldn't worry about what suspension it has if any or how firm it is when you have yet to figure out how to put the wheels on

My first truck had no suspension, it was all rigid.

could someone help me work through the .truck file? this is the bit i'm stuck at.
Open it in notepad or notepad++ and edit it? it's text?
