I should point out that my vegetation settings are set to maximum
never really noticed that, also didnt flatmap2013 used to have texture issues years ago? (its thumbnail) or am i thinking of another flat map?I have indeed noticed this problem on Flatmap 2013 and on PRALO 3.2.1 FOREST DELUXE, for example. On these maps, the terrain simply doesn't appear; there is only flat ground.
I have only tested RC1 and 2 versions very little, but from the little I have played with them, I have only encountered this problem since 2026.1.
Ok thanksSo, after extensive testing, I was finally able to fix this issue! It was caused by some game scripts inadvertently altering the reading of terrain object files if the system language is other than English. This also affected the reading of airplane-related files, causing planes to quickly lose control and crash after takeoff.
More details in this GitHub pull request.
