Try recalculating normals (while in edit mode, press f3 and search for "recalculate normals", then press enter).

Wine slows the game down and reshade just crashes RoR with a ton of errors.

Reshade is windows only. You might be able to use vkBasalt with Gamescope as an OpenGL to Vulkan wrapper instead but that didn't work for me.

Also make sure you applied scale and rotation to the mesh in Blender, the mesh might be loading but is too small or underground in game. Try turning on wireframe view in RoR.

Just remove flares/flares2/flares/materialflarebindings sections from the truck file.
