Smooth manual clutch on the controller

Hi. I would like to know how to adjust the clutch so it engages smoothly? It seems to me that the clutch works like a button with two states: on and off. I set the clutch to the y-axis, and in input mapping it shows up as an axis. Or maybe I'm missing something. thx.

I believe the clutch simulation in RoR is not really good. As a G27 user, It feels like when I release the clutch pedal (which act as a slider and not a joystick axis), It like goes to 100%, like described. It has a ton of range on the Logitech Gaming Software app.

There's currently no way to get it to work as an actual clutch with varying levels of engagement/grip
