I just don't know what it looks like, sorry. This is the only DAF I've ever seen in RoR.
If it's not on the repo, it might be somewhere in there: https://rigsofrods.cf/ there's a few results if you search for "DAF" not sure if it's any of them.

the latest version of ror doesnt have the built in content (such as simple test terrian, nhelens, daf semi, etc)

That's super weird!
If you download from this page: https://rigs-of-rods.itch.io/rigs-of-rods and choose the first option "Windows release" it does come with the content folder and the mods.
This is the no-installer, no-itch.io-store, zip version.
