Embedded waypoints

Is there a way to embed waypoints in a map's zip file ? I tried to just put waypoints.json in the zip file but it doesn't work.

Unfortunately embedding waypoints through the terrn2 file isn't currently possible. Right now the only way to load local waypoints is to download waypoints.json from GitHub and place it in Documents\My Games\Rigs of Rods\savegames (Windows) or ~/.rigsofrods/savegames (Linux). RoR will now load that file instead of fetching from GitHub.
