Unsolved game opens too large for screen. halp!!!!!!!!!!!!

the game opens in a setting where it is larger than my screen and i dont know how to change it to fit screen

Go to settings and go to revalotion then you change it to your screen size

i cant i cant even start the game. None of the buttons in the beginnging show up.
