How to make a terrain in easier way?

Is there easier way to make a terrain with easier way?
Is there a free basic terrain maker/editor for RoR to add mountains and tunnels with simple UI?
I want large and long terrains like BeamNG but I don't know how to make it myself.
L3DT is outdated and blender crashes on my PC.

Well not the whole post, as it is really long and likely boring. Has even RoR bugs listed nobody seemed to address and many unanswered questions.
But I've put in this post there, info how to use SR3 Track Editor and export for RoR from it.
It's still in text form, not video tutorial yet.
And I still wouldn't call it an easy way. But definitely a better way since you have the whole editor for all like terrain, roads, objects etc.
