Lego/Other Brick Brands Mocs and Sets / Model Kits stuff (OFF TOPIC THREAD)

xShadow_Catx

Somewhat Active (not a dead account, im just busy)
I know some people might wanna break from talking about Rigs of Rods, so heres something for Model kit builders and "Brickheads" to chat about (OFF TOPIC THREAD ONLY)
*these rules may sound like they make no sense but bear with me
*updated March 31th 2026 at 8:56am EST

What is allowed:
Chatting (make sure posts contain more than one word unless its a photo)
Mecabricks and Bricklink studio (or any 3d builder) is allowed, since i find it unrealistic for anyone to have EVERY piece in the world
Model showcase (Model kits, or Lego builds)
Instructions (Make these only if you want to and your own pace, ignore beg requests entirely)
Helpful posts (How to put something together or fix something, where to start etc...)
Criticism (please avoid being too harsh, helpful criticism is fine)
Custom parts and stickers (both lego and model kits)
Dioramas (model kit or lego displays/photoshoots)
Illegal Build technique
(while technically not allowed by normal standards, do these at your own risk and expense due to piece stress)
*Some Lego "clone" brands (except lepin for obvious reasons) are allowed, but know their brick quality is significantly different.

Whats not allowed:
Advertising (do not advertise as this is seen as begging for fame)
Begging for instructions (people are allowed to not include instructions, their choice not yours)
Bullying will not be tolerated, no starting beef with anybody (have moderators deal with it not here)
Hate speech or NSFW builds (Not Safe For Work builds or hate towards a country or person)
If you dont like the model or moc, ignore it unless it needs attention
Gore (if included, at least make sure it isnt nightmare fuel due to possible sensitive users
(at least put a warning, blood spatters are fine without warning as those arent as graphic)
Stolen content ( do not claim someones build as your own, this is a form of theft)
Leaked or pirated builds (do not distribute paid instructions or leak builds unless it is your own for showcasing)
Being a buzzkill (dont ruin the vibe man, just be chill and have fun)

Lastly, have fun and enjoy building : )

*An illegal build technique is something that causes part stress and may result in wear and eventual snapping
Some are semi-legal if they do not apply stress but do these at your own risk and expense

2 h0 scale "dioramas" not good, but both gave me a solid month of project time

Whats allowed
Chatting (do not post just single words like "cool" because that will be considered spam and will be erased)
Several posts are allowed, just make sure they contain text, make sense, and have optional photos
Posts of various timestamps (not literally a decade later due to being necroposting)
Model kits are allowed (eg; revelle or aoshima etc..) Hotwheel custom builds are also allowed
Lego Mocs/Set builds are fine (As long as you assembled it, it is fine)
More than 5 photos for posts (max of 10 attachments)
WIP photos of builds or showcasing (photo displays)
Tutorials (will be done in their own time and pace if they choose to)
Mistakes are okay, dont worry if a little glue or some denting is visible on parts
Anything at all (doesnt only have to be cars you know)
Helpful posts (eg; how to put a model kit piece together or how a lego build works)
Custom stickers and parts/customization of sets (alt builds or mocs) or model kit tuning (stance or glowups) is highly encouraged
Original builds, nothing copypasted (lego builds apply only to this rule as model kits may look identical)

Whats not allowed
Crap posting (unless its a joke build of lego or modelkit)
Stolen content (builds must be entirely assembled/created by you or team efforts/ model sets)
(sets are exempt from this rule)
Claiming a build someone else did is yours (eg; claming an exact copy of an moc is yours without credit)
Offensive builds (eg; hate towards countries or something nsfw)
Very harsh criticism (only criticism allowed is improvement, not hate)
Illegal build techniques (you are soley responsible for the brick/part damage, so do it at your own risk)
Spam posting (posting a trillion posts in a short timespan)
If a build of lego or model kit contains some violent elements (eg blood on windshield or weapons) at least write a disclaimer incase younger or sensitive members view this thread
Do not beg for instructions (eg; when will you make or demanding it now)
Moderators or members will take appropriate action towards violators

Lastly, have fun and enjoy building : )

Instructions are finally finished

If front doesnt feel "loose" like it should:

Make sure the cross axle is all the way inside, make sure its "flat" on the outsides so its not dragging against the body (which then causes it to stick)
