Solved Missing textures

one thing that bothers me is I download a mod or map and when I open it there will be missing color most of the time and missing textures the rockton map keeps getting an error because its missing a fire_ash_fall or something and a school bus would be white not yellow its not a huge problem but it bothers me

You've unzipped your mods. They need to be in their .zip files.

how would I do that I have always extracted them from the compressed file

i know this isnt fully related and i am sorry, but i also found that if you tried to adjust engine performance of said bus, it will also spawn in white/textureless
this also applies to all vehicles (cars/trucks/etc)

That would only happen if you extracted the zip, which you're never supposed to do. You're supposed to drag the file out of the zip, make changes, then drag it back into the zip.
