Invalid Multiplayer Connection Issues

I need some help. Whenever I open RoR on my PC, it says multiplayer won't work because it cannot create a connection. I've had this issue for quite a while now; is there anyway to fix it?

You're using 0.4.8 RC5. Uninstall it and install 2020.01: https://www.rigsofrods.org/download
