Petition to create an open source 3D model repository

I am thinking of an idea of creating a folder called "Models" similar to the "Air & Sea" folder where people can submit their 3D models publicly so that anyone can use it to create their own mods by using these mods as a base model.

I've always thought of something like that, and If it was real I think that would be incredibly helpful.

I don't think this is very useful. One could just upload the model to sketchfab with a cc license. I don't see the need for something similar inside RoR repos. If the problem is the non-open platform, someone could start the project, but i still don't see the need for having it inside RoR.

I do like that, it's a good idea, then there would be no confusion about what 3D models are allowed in ROR or not.
