Unsolved ROR Not Booting on Chromebook Pixelbook Runnning Debian Container

Hi All:

I'm hoping someone can help me and my son. We are in lockdown in a foreign country and my son loves ROR. We only have our Pixelbook. We were able to download ROR using the SNAP package in Debian ... but when we try to start ... we get the following message.

InvalidStateException: Cannot initialise - no render system has been selected. in Root::initialise at /build/rigs-of-rods/parts/ogre/src/OgreMain/src/OgreRoot.cpp (line 544)

Can anyone help ... it would mean the world for my son ...
