server problems

Hi, I'm trying to create a server for Rigs of Rods (multiplayer), however, I can't seem to do so when I want the server to be public, its getting annoying, I get this error
"Failed to register on server list, continuing in LAN mode";
I did everything correctly (at least I think), but I need help.
these are things I've tried:
1) letting through the fire wall
2) using a port that is actually open
3) using hamachi (which i've gotten to work before...)
4) proofreading my CFG file
not to mention none of these worked its starting to get on my nerves, so someone please help

If you can, please upload your server log and config. Omit any information you do not want public.

Typically due to port forwarding issues..

You did not open the ports correctly in the firewall of your router or OS.
