fyi car doors are not popups, they can be gullwing or butterfly if you mean that lambo/mercedes style

so this is pretty much what i'd imagine popups would look like on this, and i guess it looks fine, but you can always let me know what could be improved if you really want popups

perhaps square light inside like mazda rx7 fc,fd would look better
