The old RCs no longer exist, Itch doesn't keep old versions.

I do not, there's no reason for me to keep old and buggy versions. If you really want an old version just download the source from GitHub and compile it yourself.

Are you sure you downloaded it from http://files.rigsofrods.org/RoR_0.4.8RC5_Setup.exe? Please post the details Defender gives. Any 'threat' is a false positive.
