This game isn't very modern, It runs on a very old game engine from the 2000's.
That technically cannot happen.
Its also because of how the game runs.
You must tell it what to do.
The game cant do everything automatically.

Any unforeseen event would be fantastic, storms, strong winds, earthquakes, running out of fuel ...

This game / simulator is fantastic. It lacks realism in the maps but the physics seems incredible to me. If it included natural events, it would be more difficult and fun. Windstorms, limited fuel on planes hahaha

Assuming you use SkyX, you might be able to edit resources/SkyX.zip/SkyXDefault.skx and make a thunderstorm-like atmosphere.
