Hello I am here to hopefully shed some light on this mystery

There is a good reason "nagging/asking" isn't welcome - it's very demotivating to a lot of people, and eventually turns into moaning/complaining. e.g. "would love to see it finished" > > > "he's never going to finish it at this rate"
Like your mom asking you to clean your room, or your boss at work nagging you to get shit done. It sucks.
