Thinking about it, there could be ways to play this game on Android.
Optimization of this game makes it easier:)

Probably not natively. You might be able to modify some code and compile it for ARM, but I can't guarantee that it'll work fine.
You might also be able to run a Linux distro and install RoR, but that would probably be extremely slow
What I recommend would be to stream from your PC using Moonlight for your Android device and Sunshine for the PC

Interesting
Would it be very difficult to recompile for arm?

Provavelmente seria o mesmo processo de compilação para x86, mas então você teria que empacotar isso em um APK (deve haver instruções do Android Soes Android Studio have it for Android?
Android studio have for android ?

And anyways, you're gonna need a mouse and keyboard unless you want to modify the code to have on screen controls or find a way to always have a virtual keyboard/gamepad
If you really want to have RoR on Android, then I could compile it myself, or I could set up a way for you to stream to my unused laptop. It might be slow but it should work fine.(it would be a good idea to have a mouse and keyboard to make it easier, but not required)

I really want
(If it doesn't bother you)

What do you want me to do?
I can't code, so modifying for on screen controls isn't possible for me
Do you want me to compile it myself and send you the APK, or do you want to do the streaming option and compile it yourself?
If you want me to compile it, you'll probably get it next week because of school, but compiling it yourself should be faster, depending on how much time you have
Either is fine with me

The problem is the controls

The game's current dependencies (mainly Cg) prevent porting to any other architecture or operating system. We can't even port to Intel Macs.

As for Windows emulators like Winlator/Mobox/etc, yes it's technically possibleto play the game using these, but I don't really recommend it in its current state. In July 2024 I tested RoR on an S24 Ultra (8 Gen 3) through Mobox. 720p, mostly default graphics settings except lower sight range and shadows disabled:

These impressive frame rates (70-120+) wasn't sustainable, after a couple minutes the utilization reached near 100% (overheating?) resulting in the game becoming unplayable. I didn't have enough time to test further with this device, this situation may be improved today.

As of writing this post, I've also tried Winlator 10.0 beta on an S20 FE (SD865, the best Snapdragon device I currently own):

At 800x600 and low settings, it's capable of reaching 60 fps with frequent dips below 30. This was on NeoQueretaro with a single MV4R. Haven't tested multiplayer yet but I'd assume it wouldn't be a very good experience there.

Similar to the Steam Deck, controls are also an issue as RoR was obviously never designed with touch controls in mind. UI elements are also quite small.

Overall, it's an interesting experiment if you have a decent device. Perhaps someone more knowledgeable about these apps could share their results.

Please note that support for these emulators will NOT be provided through the support channels (forum or Discord)!
