How to use WASD instead of arrows?

W and S and used to change axel so it can be replaced with (←, →) arrows.
A and Z are used to change the gear so it can be replaced with (↑, ↓) arrows.
D does nothing so replacing it doesn't make problems.
Can someone help me to change them to what I said ?

I don't mind axels!

Might be eaiser to open your input.map in notepad++ and modify it that way, easier to see, too.

You will find that there are a lot of things that use WASD when you consider modifier keys, too (SHIFT+W, ALT+W, etc)
