I'm trying to make an E36 color pack.

Unfortunately this needs some improvements before the repository file can be approved:

1. None of the skins preserved the AO (Ambient Occlusion). Please use the PDN (paint.net) file attached to the thread to edit the "COLOR - EDIT THIS" layer which keeps the AO intact. I've attached some examples on what the skins should look like.
2. The .skin file contains the author name "DUNKELHEIT", creator of this E36 skin. It should be changed to your username.

How do you create this shadow?

1. Install paint.net (download link above, it's free from the website)
2. Download E36_BODY_PDN.zip from the BMW E36 thread
3. Extract the zip, open E36_BODYSTOCK.pdn with paint.net
4. Activate the layer window if it isn't already by pressing F7
5. Select the "COLOR - EDIT THIS" layer, now make any edits/color changes, the AO will be preserved
6. Once finished, save as a PNG image. You can also choose to save as a PDN if you wish to make further edits later.

I should probably create a paint.net skinning tutorial for the docs..
